Edna's Background
Edna J. Patterson-Petty is a life long resident of East Saint Louis, Illinois. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art/Fabric Design, and a Master of Art in Art Therapy. Edna's art has been published in numerous books, catalogues and other media. Showings have continued in a number of galleries and museums internationally and in the U.S. Her works have been seen in over sixty solo, group and traveling exhibitions and on television.

Edna's work now appears in over 10 national publications. Most recently, her designs appear in African American Review and on the web pages of the American Art Therapy Association - AATA Journal.
